Up to this point, we have been using the Canon G7X Mark ii to film all of our vlogs. But we have finally pulled the trigger on purchasing the camera we have been dreaming about for over a year: the Sony a7iii. In this video, we show you some side-by-side comparisons of the G7X Mark II vs. the Sony a7iii so you can see why we are so pumped to use this camera.
To go along with our new Sony a7iii, we purchased the Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 lens to make sure we could get a nice wide shot for travel vlogging. We also purchased the Freewell Variable ND filter (2 to 5 stop) in order to help us shoot on sunny days while still keeping our f stop at around 2.8 for some crisp close-up shots.
