In our final Iceland travel vlog, we show you our epic hike to witness Iceland’s active volcanic eruption at Geldingadalir. You’ll also see our fun puffin tour in Rekyjavik harbor and some delicious food in Reykjavik.
After having to cancel our original tour plans to get a COVID-19 test in Reykjavik for our flight the next day, we decided to pivot to another tour to take advantage of an amazing opportunity: to see an active volcanic eruption in Iceland. Needless to say, it was an incredible experience.

Before the volcano tour, we decided to take a quick puffin tour in Reykjavik harbor. We booked our tour through Special Tours, who was the same group we booked our whale watching tour through. Just like our whale watching tour, the puffin tour was tons of fun. Our tour guides were provided some excellent puffin facts throughout the tour and took us really close to a huge flock of puffins.
