We’re finally off on full-time travel! And we couldn’t have picked a better place to start: the Excellence Riviera Cancun. Join us as we give you a review of the best all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico.
The Excellence Riviera Cancun is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort located about 20 minutes south of Cancun’s international airport within the hotel zone. Given that it is adults-only, it makes the Excellence one of the most relaxing and romantic resorts in Cancun since it can take all of the money that a hotel would usually spend on kid’s activities and put it towards high-quality restaurants, bars, and other adult-centric things.
There are 11 restaurants on the property that have cuisines from around the world, including local Mexican, Indian, French, Italian, and many more cuisine options. You’ll also have many bars to choose from along the way to make sure that you constantly have a drink of some kind in your hand if you want it.
One of our favorite aspects of the Excellence Riviera Cancun was our beautiful swim-up room. It included a rain shower, two jacuzzis, an outdoor bed, and the beautiful lawn that went straight out to the pool. If you are looking for the best all-inclusive experience for couples in Cancun, then booking a swim-up room at the Excellence is an absolute must.
What really stood out for us at the Excellence was the incredible staff. You can feel a genuine warmth and kindness in each of the workers there and they go the extra mile to ensure that you have a wonderful experience. Little touches like having a warm smile as you pass them by, leaving appetizers in your room on a nightly basis, checking in to make sure you have everything you need, and many more moments like those all add up to make your experience there that much better. It really can’t be stated enough how great the staff are at the Excellence.
